Universal ClavicleUniversal Clavicle
OrthopaedicsandTrauma.com recommends that on diagnosis of a clavicle fracture the treatment of course depends on complications, the patients age, the general condition of the patient and the site of fracture, grade and symptoms. However, if you have decided to treat your patient conservatively then we recommend analgesia and let you patient lie supine for 15 minutes with a rolled towel longituninally between the shoulder blades before applying first the Universal clavicle and then the Clinical Shoulder Immobiliser.

It is worth seeing the patient at weekly intervals for the first 3 weeks to tighten the Universal Clavicle for comfort and to assist reduction.
